One report across ad sources and your MMP, no manual entry
Every week it is the same routine: export spend from Meta, then from Google Ads, open Adjust, merge it all into a sheet and check that nothing shifted. That is an hour or two of manual work that adds nothing to results. This solution removes it entirely.
What you get
- One table or dashboard with spend, impressions, clicks, CTR and CPC from the ad accounts next to conversions from your MMP.
- Data refreshes on its own every day at a set time.
- History is kept by day, so week over week and month over month comparisons take one click.
- Each project has its own set of ad accounts and its own target event from the MMP.
How it works
- Connectors. Small scripts pull data through the official Meta Marketing API, Google Ads API and Adjust Reporting API.
- Storage. Everything lands in one database in a long format: date, source, campaign, metric, value. New metrics can be added without rebuilding tables.
- Schedule. Collection runs once a day, after the ad accounts have closed the previous day.
- Front end. Looker Studio, Google Sheets or a custom dashboard on top, depending on how much flexibility you need.
What you need to set it up
- Read access to the ad accounts and the MMP.
- The list of metrics and events you actually look at.
- A decision on where the report lives: a sheet, a BI tool or a dedicated dashboard.
Pitfalls
- Time zones. Ad accounts and MMPs often use different ones, so daily numbers do not match. Align them at collection time.
- Attribution. Conversions in an ad account and in the MMP will never match one to one. Agree up front which source counts as the truth.
- Tokens. Some API credentials expire, so you need an alert when collection fails.
